Claude in-app browser

Claude's in-app browser does not expose WebMCP to pages today, so AnyWebMCP cannot register its site tools inside it.

Why

AnyWebMCP needs browser-level WebMCP support

The extension registers tools through document.modelContext on the website you opened. The browser must expose that WebMCP interface and allow the AnyWebMCP extension to run. Claude's in-app browser does not expose WebMCP or provide a supported way to load AnyWebMCP.

Available alternative

Connect your agent to local Chrome

Follow the Chrome setup to load the extension, enable Chrome's experimental WebMCP support, and connect the browser to your agent through Chrome DevTools MCP.
